Hellblade – What is it all About?

Posted on August 11, 2017 at 3:25 pm

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a recently released game on PS4 and PC. It is the latest offering from Ninja Theory, the English team who have created titles like Enslaved and Heavenly Sword. Hellblade is a dark yet engaging game that sees a Celtic warrior battling to be reunited with her husband, the victim of a viking murder. The sound and visuals are nothing short of captivating.

And yet, Hellblade isn’t making the impression it should be. It’s falling short of greatness in some key areas. The actual gameplay hasn’t gone done too well with some critics and has been described as being like an afterthought. Players complete puzzles and enter into combat but somehow, it just doesn’t all work together. The combat is especially difficult when it is against multiple enemies.

Hellblade still has a lot of fans, largely due to the characterisation and the setting. It sounds like there is work to be done on the gameplay, though.

Football Manager – It’s Never Lost Its Appeal

Posted on July 14, 2017 at 1:59 pm

Football Manager is an on-going series of games that release new versions each year, to coincide with each season. Many football fans dream of what it would be like to run a football team, managing it on a day to day basis and picking the players. That dream can be realised with Football Manager and it’s one of the reasons the game continue to be popular with each season that goes by.

In the game, the player picks an initial team and buys and sells players. It’s a game of tactics – you decide on how you want your team to play and how they are going to be able to win matches for you. The gamer is given total control as the manager. Characters are real players, making the game more relatable. The information they use is so sophisticated, some football teams will even consult Football Manager’s database to help with team recruitment!

Top MMORPG’s on Steam

Posted on August 27, 2016 at 1:52 pm

If you’re a steam user, you may want to take a look at the wide range of games that frequent the top sellers’ list on Steam. It really displays a wide range of styles of games to choose from, so you’re almost certain to find something to your liking. There are games which cost money as a one-off in addition to the large number of games that charge for what is, usually, a relatively small amount but are otherwise free.

Currently, the most popular MMORPG on Steam is the Elder Scrolls Online:Tamriel game, which is also available on console. There isn’t much doubt, however, that the game is better suited to a PC platform, so the game is a better experience through Steam.

There is also a large number of sandbox crafting games, such as Wurm, that grace the list. These are great for people who like that sense of accomplishment from finishing a task in a game while they slowly build up and master their environment.
